Waking Basics: #BALANCE #valentinesday #selflove

Balance
One of the huge imbalances in life is the disparity between your daily existence, with its routines and habits, and the dream you have deep within yourself of some extraordinarily satisfying way of living.
— Dr. Wayne Dyer

One could say that having balance in your life means being at peace - at peace with the world around you. It would follow then that any anxiety, fear or unease would suggest that you are out of balance.

For every up, there is a down.

For every beginning, there is an end.

For everything, there is a balance. This can be a very powerful way to look at things if we apply it to our lives.

For all anger, there is love.

For every heartbreak, there is a joy.

For every adversarial event in your life or every person that causes you pain, there is a lesson – something to be learned and grow from.

It is so easy to get stuck in what we perceive as a problem - depression, loss, guilt, mistrust. And when you get stuck, it becomes almost inevitable that you turn on yourself – taking you further down the rabbit hole. But what if these weren't problems?

What if we looked at every day of our life as being here at earth school? We would have only one assignment - recognize a negative mind and find it’s balance. I tell you what, it can certainly take us a long way in connecting our daily life and our dreams. If we look at everything in our life as a way to open up and find strength, then everything is a gift.

If we feel hate, we look for love.

If we fall, we get up.

If we are cutting ourselves down, we find self-support, self-love.

This Valentines Day, please know that no matter the circumstances of your life, balance and peace are possible.

For you are never harnessed with sadness as you can seek out love. In fact, you don't have to search far. It all starts with you. It begins with self-love. From there, all other love is possible.

You are never alone as you have yourself. Your best friend and closest ally.

So check in at earth school, today. What are you feeling? Where is your balance?
